Booking a private photo expert allows you to select from our carefully planned routes or to make desired changes where possible according to your interest. If there are 2 or more of you then the price is also quite attractive.
Hey Armando,
My European adventure is officially over. Just like you said I would, I had an amazing time traveling by train. I wanted to email you to say thank you once again for taking me on the London Photo Tour during my stay in London. I had a lot of fun. Thank you again for everything. Peter
Thanks again for our tour of San Francisco. It was truly enjoyable! Keith and Alyson Wahl
Good Morning Tobi, Thank you again for the great tour. We had fun. Thought I'd send you a couple of the photos I took.
Hi David, It was indeed a pleasure to meet you and gain some more experience. Our trip to Kowloon was the Highlight of my trip and I am quite pleased with my shots and your patience. The trip to Big Buddha was a hot and sticky one, but well worth the visit. Had some trouble with the lighting even when using AV, I shall send you some pics for your critique. I look forward to all your comments and hope to meet with you again ( Less humidity though). Ciao, Dale
How do we select our photographers for the Adventures thru the Lens network.
1. Live in the local destination.
2. Speak English and the local language.
3. Are professional photographers
4. Have a great eye.
5. Are people friendly and enjoy sharing their knowledge.
6. They are willing to go beyond.
You can relax! You’re in good hands, and you’re about to have the time of your life!
You have your camera, you're ready to travel to your favorite destination, and may be wondering what to expect when you arrive for the Photo Adventurer Tour. Our photographers are top-notch professionals who know how to teach the art of travel photography to beginners and professional alike.
Whether you have a point-and-shoot or the most up-to-date digital SLR, our photographers are ready to show you how make memorable photographs while getting the most out of your camera. "It's not the horse, it's the rider!" as they say, and the fundamentals of creative photography begin with the eye, not the camera.
Our photographers will begin by asking you about your interest and background in photography, whether you consider yourself a beginner or more advanced, and what you would like to achieve on the tour. With your input, he or she will be able identify your personal needs and set realist, obtainable, goals for the time you will be together. You may want to learn more about the camera and "all those menus". You may want to improve your composition, or perhaps move forward from "taking post-card pics". Whatever your level of expertise, our photographers are ready and able to help you improve your photography at every stop along the tour.
We've designed our tours to encompass various historical/social milestones in each city. At each stop our photographer will introduce the historical significance of the spot, as well as a specific photographic technique or "trick" that can be applied to get the best shot. Your guide will explain why making a photograph in a particular way may be the most appropriate for the subject, and invite a discussion on other ways you might photograph the spot. This interaction is the key to improving your photography. By the end of the tour you will have a collection of images that tell the story of YOUR experience and way of seeing the city of your choice.
In short, we want you to:
• Have fun with photography
• Improve your powers of observation.
• Create interesting shots with any camera
• Learn to tell a story in Images
• Learning some local history and discover a new location
• Capture your holiday magic moments in a fun and easy way
