Our Photographer has in-depth local knowledge, a passion for their city and for the art of photography. Photographers are carefully selected for their breadth of style and experience in either travel or photo-documentary/reportage.
You will learn how to:
See differently, finding new ways to compose an image.
Shoot and use available light more effectively.
Use the aperture on your camera to give more or less depth of field.
Control your cameras instead of letting the camera control you.
Use your lens to its best advantage.
Rich has worked as a professional photographer for the past 30 years. He is a frequent lecturer and teacher in the area. He specializes in shooting on location for corporate, advertising and editorial uses. His work is characterized by its strong use of graphic compositions and color.
He flourishes in environments that give nightmares to other shooters. He thrives on the diversity of challenges available to the location photographer and imaginatively and efficiently exploits the unpredictable. His strongly composed images often are of people who seem to genuinely enjoy being in front of his camera. They look relaxed, natural and sincere. He has published two books, the first one was about the Unviersity of Delaware and his most recent book is titled "Philadelphia a Photographic Portfolio." Rich is a frequent contributor to articles and calenders needing photos of Philadlephia.
